About the Author

Imagination was my best friend...

As a child, I'm told my favourite phrase was 'let's pretend...". Combine that with a love of reading and writing and it seems I was destined to eventually become an author. In fact, my first story was published in the school's yearbook when I was six years old! It was many years later though, when I finally took the plunge and actively began to work on publishing my books.

Previous to this, I was an educator for thirty years teaching in the primary grades as well as working with special needs students.  I often wrote stories to help the children learn and now have a large backlog of tales to dust off, polish and share with the world!

Other facts about me include a love of animals, nature, gardening, art and all things creative!  I'm a firm believer in social justice, supporting charities and reducing our footprint on the earth.
